Gina’s Family Pet Sitting is a solo pet sitting and dog walking business based in Central Massachusetts. I specialize in cat care now for a few reasons. Mainly, because I have seen many hobby sitters (not insured or with a city business certificate or any professional certifications) treat cat visits as very short and without an attention to detail. This can be detrimental for many cats who either mask illness or show slight changes in behavior, especially in regard to eating and litter box habits. Now that I'm approaching middle age, I also appreciate that cats don't need to be walked. I love a good cuddle with a cat on my lap and winning over a kitty who is shy or grumpy with new people. With me, you also don't have to worry about your cat(s) getting their medications accurately and in a timely manner. I can administer oral, transdermal, and injectable medications if needed.
I am Pet CPR and First Aid certified as well as pride myself on keeping up with other continuing education.
I take care of all kinds of cats--from the very young to the very old, and from the very healthy to the very ill, sick, elderly, and special needs cats. Not all cats do well in noisy boarding facilities, so caring for them at their own homes while you are away can keep their stress levels at a minimum.

Pet Sitting
My focus is cat care, and my pet sitting services can also include fuzzy exotics, including ferrets, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, turtles...and possibly other species upon request. I can administer medications, injections, and subcutaneous fluids.
Dog Walking
While I am no longer offering care for new dog clients, I can recommend other professionals who are insured, have a business certificate with their city or town, and offer dog walking and vacation care in your area. If you are a dog walker or professional sitter and want to be on my referral list, please reach out to me. I'm happy to be a bit of a pet care professional matchmaker to other insured small business owners.
